House Rules & Policy

Welcome to Kama Central Park Hostel. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for all our guests, please review our house rules and policies carefully. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms:

• No Refunds: All reservations are final. Kama Hostel does not offer refunds under any circumstances.
• Damages & Charges: The guest(s) registering are financially responsible for any damages to the room, furnishings, or property. Kama Hostel reserves the right to charge the card on file for any incidentals or repairs.
• No Smoking & Food Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and indoor spaces. Only water is allowed in the rooms — no food or other beverages are permitted inside.
• Pet Policy: Only dogs are allowed and must be booked in private rooms (not pods). A refundable $300 deposit is required at check-in, returned after inspection. Proof of vaccinations is mandatory.
• Liability Disclaimer: Kama Hostel and its staff are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of valuables including money or jewelry.
• Age Policy: All guests must be 18 years or older. Guests between 14–17 may stay only with a notarized parental consent letter or accompanied by a legal guardian.
• Pod Assignment: Guests must use their assigned bed or pod. Unauthorized use of a different pod will incur a $15 fee.
• Room Type Requests: If you accidentally book a gender-specific room (e.g., a female dorm for a male guest or vice versa), we will do our best to accommodate a change, but we cannot guarantee availability. Please double-check your selection when booking.
• Local Resident Policy: We do not accommodate residents of New York State.
• Substance Use: Entry may be denied or reservations cancelled if a guest is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or found consuming substances on the premises.
• Maximum Stay: The maximum allowed stay is 14 consecutive days.
